Athens, the city where the Olympic Games were born, will now host the world’s first International Humanoid Robot Olympics. Robots that look like humans will compete in this special event. The competition will take place from August 29 to September 2.

Faster air travel may soon be possible over the United States. New planes that fly faster than the speed of sound are being developed. These planes may be allowed to fly over land for the first time ever.
In the past, supersonic flights like the Concorde were not allowed over the US because of loud sonic booms.
Now, a new plane called the Overture may change that. It will fly at Mach 1.7, which could cut flight times in half. It will carry 80 passengers in luxury, like business class today.

Social Media Makes People Believe Fake News
A study by Michigan State University shows that people who use social media too much are more likely to believe false information.
In the study, people were shown both real and fake news. Those who believed fake news were also more likely to click and share those posts.
This might be why false news spreads faster than real news.
US and China to Talk About Trade Dispute
June 6 – Washington (Reuters): Three of President Donald Trump’s top advisors will meet Chinese officials in London on Monday. Their goal is to solve the trade problems between the United States and China, the world’s two largest economies.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will represent the US.
Trump announced the meeting on Truth Social, but did not share more details.

Elon Musk’s AI Project Joins Telegram
Elon Musk’s AI company xAI is working with the messaging app Telegram. xAI paid $300 million to add its AI model Grok to Telegram. Telegram will earn half of the money from any xAI subscriptions bought through the app.
